It’s always really exciting when a production comes out that totally speaks to your interests. LXD = The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.
A diverse group of dancers? Superheros? Magic sneakers? I don’t know about you, but this just looks like straight-up fun! LXD is coming out next year as a Web series. Judging by how much I relish wallowing away the days with my little friend Hulu Desktop, this may just be the perfect format for me. Thanks, Jon M. Chu!
You might recognize a familiar face in some of these shots. He of the Asian complexion and popping, locking, liquid moves – It’s “Other Asian” from Glee! Okay, seriously, his name in the show is Mike Chang. But the guy is Harry Shum. He kind of gives Billiam a run for his money. I’m just saying. Here’s Harry on LXD.
THE NEW LXD (Legion of eXtraordinary Dancers) trailer is UP! We are very excited to launch this trailer and can’t wait for everyone to experience this journey we are about to take with storytelling and dance. This is a project that I hold special to my heart because it gives dancers the spotlight they deserve. Also being involved in the creative process (choreographing) as well as acting and dancing in it makes it even more special to me. Watch the trailer and please leave comments as I would LOVE to hear your thoughts. If you like the trailer please retweet, repost etc…Thanks and much LOVE to you, yes YOU!
AND don’t forget to watch “So You Think You Can Dance” tomorrow right BEFORE “Glee” to watch The LXD perform. Believe me when I say this….It is not going to be what you expect….tune in.
I haven’t watched a second of this season of SYTYCD, but I may tomorrow since I know Harry’s already taped his bit for the show. As if Glee and LXD wouldn’t keep a body busy enough, he’s also the moonwalker for the release of the black iPod Nano with video. (Yeah, the black Nano totally looks charcoal grey – I know! I worked there! I know…) Watch:
Harry’s living my dream. He must be paid in time instead of money. Maybe that’s the secret…
Plus I got love for my Asian dancer brothers. Carry on, Harry Shum.
