Flying into Vegas:
Stayed at the HRH, thanks to a great anniversary deal.
I’d totally recommend the king suites.
Please note my Happy Socks. They made a reappearance when I decided to walk up and down the hall, up and down the elevator, and then up and down the hall again with half a dish of leftover tiramisu. Of course this was the only trip up and down the hall and up and down the elevator where I ran into other souls, the other souls being two girls in the fashion industry dressed all party-cute and two guys in the elevator noting my Liz Lemon approach to enjoying dessert asking “Tiramisu? Nice choice.”
“Yeah, I keep it classy,” I volleyed back. Yeah, I got it like that.
My favorite part was the sweeeet office set-up! (And the fact that there was no one in my room to judge the fact that I never turned on either of the two flatscreen TVs. I am totally hip, thanks!)
Got “stuck” with two queen-sized beds, which is lonelier than you think, considering that the first full day at MAGIC was Valentine’s Day and my valentine was in a different state. That’s a window/mirror wall reflecting my sleeping quarters.
Bathroom counter: classy.
Rain shower and a bathtub! Great in the morning, and great for recuping at night.
Also, nice view. After seeing the Rehab pool unoccupied in the daytime, will I ever step into the water? HELL TO THE NO! So disgusting. Really, what is wrong with people (vacationing in Vegas)??
I fall for simple moments in presentation, and so I fell for the set-in depth of this mirror. Eliminates the need for one of those perfume/pretty toiletry trays (mirrored or not). Cleaner, just a bit more streamlined. Coincidentally, came across MollaSpace’s neat right-angled Reflect Mirrors at Project. Do I want to order them in black and white? Yes.
