Have you heard A Silent Film?

Got the chance to check out a new band from the UK last week: A Silent Film. They’re said to be the next Coldplay, and while I’m sure they’d rather be known for their own sounds as opposed to being the second coming of Chris Martin’s foursome, they definitely have that dramatic, anthemic piano-driven rock thing going on.

While it’s impossible to not enjoy any concert at the intimate and quirky cozy Rickshaw Stop (How fun would it be to have a party there?), I couldn’t help feeling like A Silent Film’s sound was too big for the venue. They seem like they would better fit in an arena, or another place where you’d find U2 fans.
